Houston is 1!

This cutie is so grown up!  And mobile!  Houston has been walking for at least a couple months, and boy is he skilled!  He did NOT have time for photos, so I did a lot of "on the go" shooting!  But those eyes!  And that sweet smile!  Love it!

BKHS Prom 2017

Y'all...I will forever love an event.  I watch the Oscars and the Emmys and the Grammys...all just for one thing - the dresses.  I love parties and fancy outings just because I like to see what everyone is wearing.  And shooting these prom photos was no different.  I was so excited - like, probably more excited than the kids actually going to prom.  More excited than I should've been, I realize this.  :)  BUT - these girls were BEAUTIFUL (no one looked like that when I was in high school).  And the guys were rockin' those tuxes and looking great.
We met at a beautiful home, and despite the wet ground, we got some beautiful and fun shots to send them off to a fun night of dining and dancing!

L Family

This beautiful family is not stranger to my camera.  They are always so fun to shoot, and I feel like our time goes by so quickly!  These boys - so handsome, but like, boys...don't love a photo session.  They always make the best of it, though.  And sweet Abigail!  Those cheeks!
They are all beautiful people, so it makes my job super easy.  ;)

Kynlee: Senior Rep

This girl was a ball to shoot, and those championship rings!!  Love it!  I've known Kynlee since she was a teeny tiny, so I can't believe how grown up she is!  We had a great time hanging out for her session - super fun and relaxed - and such a picture of who she is!
These sheds!  Y'all - I grew up in a small town that is known for strawberries!  Years ago, the "berry sheds" were built to give farmers easy access to the railroad so they could load up those berries and get them to the outside world.  As long as I've been a photographer, I've always wanted to shoot at them. They are old and dusty and wooden and all kinds of great things that photographers look for.  But they are such a cool piece of history, and I love that.  And I love working that into her senior photos - some history of the town that has helped make her who she is....and helped make me who I am too!
